Intro
Ben was an accomplished member and leader in several orchestral, chamber, and studio ensembles, including principal bassist of the Vanderbilt University Orchestra.
Biography

Ben Sposet joined Baylor in 2021 as director of orchestras, and will conduct the Middle School and Upper School orchestras, teach the orchestral portion of the sixth grade fine arts survey course, and oversee the after-school music elective and applied lessons program. Ben earned a bachelor of musical arts degree from Vanderbilt University where he was an accomplished member and leader in several orchestral, chamber, and studio ensembles, including principal bassist of the Vanderbilt University Orchestra. While completing his degree, Ben worked with the Blair Children’s Chorus at Vanderbilt University, the Baldwin Wallace University Summer Music Program in Ohio, and the W. O. Smith Community Music School and Youth Strings Program in Nashville.
