Sheila was born in Sweden but having moved at age five to Germany, she is trilingual, speaking Swedish, German, and English. She has a degree in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania and has served for several years as a substitute teacher, including in Virginia, from which her family recently relocated, and at Normal Park, where her daughters have been in school. She is also a certified body combat instructor and yoga instructor. Her daughter is a member of Baylor’s Class of 2031.
