Austin Williams teaches sixth grade geography and eighth grade civics as well as leading the MS community service role and serving as a dorm parent. Austin earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (History) from UTC and received a Master’s of Education for Teaching and Learning in Urban Schools from Vanderbilt. Austin began his teaching career with a year at East Lake Academy of Fine Arts in Chattanooga, where he taught seventh grade social studies and coached baseball. Austin then moved on to Madison Middle School in Nashville, where he has taught eighth grade social studies and coached football and soccer for the past three years. Austin was named Dean of Students for the eighth grade in 2021.
