Rachelle Parman serves as a health and wellness instructor in the Upper School..
Rachelle graduated from the University of North Florida with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in Jacksonville, Florida. During nursing school, she worked as the admissions receptionist at Ten Broeck Hospital (now Riverpoint Behavioral Health) a psychiatric and substance abuse treatment facility. Upon the completion of her degree, she gained employment at St Vincent's Medical Center, working in infectious diseases for four years. She then relocated to Sewanee, Tenn., where she worked at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in the emergency department for three and a half years. Before coming to Baylor, she was employed for four years at the wound healing center and hyperbaric oxygen department at CHI Memorial Hospital, where her responsibilities included training new employees and patient teaching.
Rachelle has experience working as a nurse at a variety of summer youth programs and camps. She has also enjoyed volunteering to chaperone youth group activities at the churches she in which has been a member.
She is married to Quinn Parman, who serves as rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. They have two children, son, Fritz and daughter, Mary Karis.
