Fall Play

The Baylor Players will present Letters to Sala by Arlene Hutton.
Chattanooga Dances!
October 21st
Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts
Baylor’s Upper School dancers will perform in this community show that features dance companies from the Chattanooga area as well as Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company of New Jersey.
Tennessee Youth Dance Festival
October 22nd-23rd
Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts
Baylor dancers will participate in this weekend long festival where they will take master classes in a variety of dance genres as well as perform in the Student Choreography Showcase.
Tenor-Bass Choral Festival
October 29th
Alumni Chapel
Baylor School is hosting a Tenor-Bass Choral Festival in conjunction with the Chattanooga Boys Choir. This event is headlined by Director of Choral Activities Dr. Tucker Biddlecombe and will feature a performance by the Vanderbilt University Glee Club. Singers from all across the Chattanooga region will be present for an all-day workshop that culminates in a performance on the Alumni Chapel stage.
ETVA All-East Honor Choirs
November 17th-19th
Maryville College
Several members of Baylor’s students, accepted by competitive audition, will represent the school as members of the East Tennessee Vocal Association All-East Honor Choirs where they will sing under expert and collegiate clinicians at this event held on the campus of Maryville College in Maryville TN.
Band and Orchestra Holiday Concert

Middle School and Upper School Band and Orchestra will present a performance of repertoire studied in the fall semester.

Students from the Theater 200/300 Class will present a collection of Short Plays they have been preparing throughout the semester.
Choir Winter Concert

Come join Baylor’s Middle School Choir, Concert Choir, and Community Choir as they present this favorite annual tradition of traditional “classics,” holiday carols, and new compositions celebrating the joy of the season.
Middle School Play
January 19th-21st

The Middle School Theatre Department will be presenting Alice @ Wonderland – “What would happen if a 21st century Alice collided with Lewis Carroll’s legendary Wonderland? This modern retelling of the classic children’s story has all of the characters you know and love, including the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts."
Winter Players
January 28th at 3:00pm and 7:00pm
Dining Hall
The Baylor Winter Players will share two children's plays, Rapunzel Uncut and Goldilocks on Trial, that are student-directed and student-designed. We encourage the entire Baylor community, especially on-campus families and all the members of the boarding community, to come out for an afternoon or evening of children's theater along with cocoa and cookies provided by the Baylor Backers.
*These plays will also be shared with the community service scholars at Carver and Westside Community Centers in January.

All-East Band & Orchestra Clinic

An audition-based ensemble featuring the most accomplished young musicians in the region; Baylor participants will be announced after the January auditions.
JB Lyle Choral Festival
March 7th
First Baptist Church - Chattanooga
Baylor’s Concert Choir will participate in this adjudicated festival of regional choirs, where they will receive feedback about all aspects of performance and sight reading.
Baylor Music Ensembles Spring Tour
March 9th-11th
Clemson, UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte
Charlotte, NC
Band, Orchestra, & Choir students will travel to North Carolina to participate in university masterclasses, composer workshops, a Baylor Alumni gathering, and more. Baylor’s student musicians will also attend a performance of the award-winning musical Come From Away.
TMEA Conference, All-State Band & Orchestra
April 19th-22nd
Nashville, TN
(This is tentative based on if anyone from Baylor makes the ensemble)
An audition-based ensemble featuring the most accomplished young musicians in the state. Performances take place on Saturday, April 22nd in the Opryland Hotel in Nashville.
