Boys varsity head basketball coach Austin Clark will work with players in all aspects of the game, including the fundamentals of defensive positioning, ball handling, rebounding, dribbling, passing and shooting. Emphasis is on proper offensive and defensive skill and techniques. Camp concludes with a competitive game.

Baylor varsity coach Tisa Lindsey will provide fundamental to intermediate instruction on every aspect of cheering, including basic cheers, dance movements and basic tumbling. Campers participate in various spirit competitions, paint signs, and develop a new cheer for the week. Campers will have the opportunity to come back to campus in September and cheer with the Varsity Cheer Team at halftime of a home football game

Campers will explore over 200 wooded acres of the Baylor School campus that runs along the Tennessee River. Track sessions will be held on the state-of-the-art track facility, and weight lifting and conditioning take place in an indoor training facility. Cross training workouts will take place in the Olympic size indoor pool and outdoor pool. The indoor track is also available in the event of severe weather.
Camp Director: Lisa Drew is a ’09 National Triathlon Champion and qualified for the World Triathlon Championships in 2009. A life-long athlete, Lisa has often split her time between running, swimming, basketball, and softball. Professionally, she has worked as a personal trainer and coach as well as an athletic trainer. Lisa is an associate dean of residential life and lives on campus with her husband Mike and their two children.

Baylor’s lacrosse camp is designed for the serious lacrosse player who desires a highly competitive and informational training experience. All aspects of the sport will be covered. Camp will consist of three training sessions each day, followed by evening programs and fun activities.
Camp director: Jon Bloom has been Baylor’s varsity lacrosse coach for six years and has been coaching in Tennessee since 1997. Jon was awarded coach of the year in 1998. He lettered in lacrosse during his four years at Franklin and Marshall, earning all conference honors at attack his senior year. Jon lives on campus and works in the residential life and admission offices.
What to Bring:
