Raider Days - Day Camp

Want Maximum Fun?
Then get ready for one awesome day camp! In addition to our popular camp activities (such as water polo, soccer, ultimate frisbee, nature hikes, swimming, arts and crafts, and lots and lots more), all sessions of Raider Days day camps are theme-based with exciting new activities to match special interests of our many campers. Come join us for one session – or all five!  You'll find it all this summer, all for you, all on Baylor School's amazing campus!

Our 2012 Summer Schedule

Session 1 – June 18-22, 2012 Lions, and Tigers, and (Red) Raiders, OH MY!
In this week of animal adventure, campers will explore Baylor’s campus with animal themed games and arts and crafts, while also learning about Baylor’s mascot (the tiger) and where the “Red Raider” name came from.  We’ll do all of this along with the favorite traditional activities such as swimming, kickball, slip ‘n  slide, and much more!

Session 2 – June 25-29, 2012 | Red, White, and Blue (plus a little Gray) Week
Come celebrate the Fourth of July early Red Raider style!  Campers will create patriotic arts and crafts, go on scavenger hunts throughout campus, swim in one (or both) of our swimming pools, and have various patriotic themed contests throughout the week.  We will do all of this along with the favorite traditional activities such as swimming, kickball, slip ‘n slide and much more!  Camp will end with an all-camp poolside Fourth of July BBQ .

Session 3 – July 9-13, 2012 | Red Raiders go Green!
Baylor campers are going green!  This session will focus on our beautiful and fragile environment through hands-on exploration of various environmental initiatives on Baylor’s campus, including a visit to the school’s organic garden. Campers have fun learning about recycling, sustainable energy, and turning trash into treasure by creating crafts with recycled materials.  We will do all of this along with the favorite traditional activities such as swimming, kickball, slip ‘n slide and much more!

Session 4 – July 16-20, 2012 | Outdoor Adventure Red Raider Style
Have you ever wanted to climb to the top of a mountain, paddle a whitewater river, or hit the trails?  Campers will learn the importance of outdoor safety while building their skills in our indoor climbing gym, and hiking our beautiful campus trails.  Older campers (Adventure Raiders) will practice paddling a kayak in our indoor pool.  We will do all of this along with the favorite traditional activities such as swimming, kickball, slip ‘n slide and much more! The week will end with roasting smores around a camp fire.

Session 5 – July 23-27, 2012 | Splish-Splash Water Week
Get ready to get wet! The “Raider Days” of summer have set in and what better way to beat the heat than cooling off on our beautiful campus with your friends.  We have water balloons, super soakers, sprinklers, hoses, pools and everything in between to keep you cool.  Campers will also learn about the wonders of H2O throughout the week.
