  • Founder of Southern Smash Meets With Students

    We were pleased to welcome McCall Dempsey to Baylor on Tuesday, March 14 as part of Body Positivity Week. McCall is the founder of Southern Smash, a non-profit aimed at raising eating disorder awareness and promoting positive body image through its signature scale smashing event. McCall met with Upper School parents for an informal coffee and later presented to juniors and seniors.

  • Author Cindy Pierce Visits Baylor

    Author and comic storyteller Cindy Pierce spoke to Upper School students in chapel on Oct. 24 about the need for students to following their moral compass, having social courage, and finding their “healthy crew” (those people, adults and peers, who support them, lift them up and allow them to feel good about themselves). It was a lot to pack into one chapel talk!
