The following is general information applying to all Baylor students.
1. Each student must read a minimum of three books over the summer. This includes a required book and two additional books chosen from guidelines provided for each grade. (See links for each grade below)
2. There are assignments that students must complete as part of the reading requirement, as outlined in the documents for each grade below.
3. There are reading logs for students to track their progress. These will be turned in to advisers on the first day of class in the fall.

All students who read 2,500 pages or more, including their required reading, will receive a letter of commendation and a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. Reading must be at a grade level appropriate for the student and take place between June 1 and August 19.

Library Hours During School Year Monday through Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday: 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday: 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. (We are no longer open on Sunday afternoons.)
These hours apply while the school is in session. The Library will be closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings and whenever the school is closed (such as vacation days, snow days, etc.)
