Environmental Task Force

Baylor is committed to practicing responsible environmental stewardship and in 2007, a Sustainability Task Force was created to guide the school in long-term environmental planning and the following policy was created in fall 2008:

Baylor’s Environmental Sustainability Policy Statement
Baylor is committed to environmental sustainability as a means of advancing the mission of the school and reducing operating costs.  With this commitment in mind, the school will regularly review initiatives with the purpose of recommending guidelines and best practices that will address environmental sustainability in consistent, intentional, and visible ways.

Through the adoption of this policy statement the school seeks to:

  • Improve the health and well-being of the Baylor community
  • Reduce operating costs
  • Improve productivity and performance
