Dear Parents of Middle School Students,
Congratulations to the Baylor Lakers for their spirit team victory. As a reward, they enjoyed a casual dress day and ice cream sundaes during study hall yesterday. The Lakers will also begin next year with possession of the coveted spirit team trophy.
- Please note that the school-wide Lost and Found will be on display Tuesday and Wednesday, May 28 and May 29 in the Field House Dance Studio from 7:30 a.m. - 11:45 and 1:00 -4:00 p.m. If you need assistance viewing these items, please see Mrs. Etter in the Athletic Office (upstairs in the Field House). On Thursday, all unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
Seventh and eighth grade students will have exams on Monday and Tuesday. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, May 27
- 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.: "A" period math or foreign language exam.
- noon - 2:00 p.m.: "C" period math or foreign language exam.
- Tuesday, May 28
- 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.: "K" period math or foreign language exam.
- noon - 2:00 p.m.: "M" period math or foreign language exam.
Rising sixth through eighth grade Baylor students are invited to an Introductory Strength and Speed Clinic that will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon June 3 - 6, June 10 - 13, and June 17 - 20. Participants should wear shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes, and should also bring cleats and a water bottle. Participants may come to all or part of the clinic over the three week period. Once again, Baylor is offering a Grammar Camp for Students Entering Grades 9-11. This short summer class for Baylor students (new or returning) entering grades 9, 10, or 11 will be offered July 29 - August 2, and August 5-9. The purpose of the class is to provide a concentrated focus on grammatical structures as a way to help students write correctly and perform effectively on college entrance tests...click here for more information.

7 a.m.– 8:30 a.m. – The Field House will be unlocked for senior parents to place reserved seat markers in the senior seating section. (Each senior will receive six seat markers which will be mailed to parents the first week of May). Note: there will be plenty of general seating for additional guests. The graduation ceremony should last approximately two hours.10 a.m. – Seniors arrive at the Field House ready for line-up. (Be prepared for heavy traffic at the front entrance. Note: the back gate will also be open and is recommended to use.)
11 a.m. – Graduation ceremony. A podcast of graduation will be posted on the school website the following week. (Lifetouch Photography will take photos of each senior receiving his/her diploma.) Images are posted online within 72 hours at www.lifetouchevents.com (password is BAYLORgrad13 and is case sensitive).
