  • Asking for a Leave - How to?

    My teen called and asked for a leave. What is a leave and how do I get one for my child?
    How To:
    Overnight leave permission (a “leave”) is the required electronic paperwork that a boarder completes with his or her adviser prior to leaving campus for an overnight stay or visit. Leaves are required any time that a student will not be sleeping in the dorm – i.e. regular weekend leaves, vacations, breaks, Baylor sponsored events (athletics, band or concert trips, etc.).

  • Off to a Great Start!

    WOW! It has been a great start. You may be thinking that I am crazy because you just had your son or daughter call you to tell you that they are homesick, tired, overwhelmed, and flat-out exhausted. I will have to agree that this is probably all true BUT I assure you that there have been plenty of happy moments in the dorms, athletic fields, Ms. Kitty's Grill and around the Quad. The kids are settling down, getting used to their classes, and meeting an amazing group of new friends.
