One Hundred Ten Baylor Students and Grads Earn AP Scholar Awards

Congratulations to the 110 Baylor School students and recent graduates who have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams. The recognized students' average score on the exams was 3.73.

With the AP Scholar Awards, the AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on AP Exams..

Baylor grads Fanjun "Frank" Bu '17, Reagan Imsand '17, and Talus Iorio-Ronek '17 all qualified for the "National AP Scholar Award" by earning an average score of 4 or higher on a five-point scale on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. Bu, Imsand, and Iorio-Ronek were also included in the group earning the "AP Scholar with Distinction Award."

Thirty-seven students qualified for the "AP Scholar with Distinction Award" by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are Ellie Bixler '17, Charis Boyd '17, Frank Bu '17, Peter Ceren '17, Payton Grande '17, Lynn Gui '18, Mary Drue Hall '17, Pete Harinsuit '17, Hayley Harwood '18, Mandy Huang '18, Reagan Imsand '17, Talus Iorio-Ronek '17, Ashton Jenne '17, Lynn Jiang '17, A. J. Twenty-three students qualified for the "AP Scholar with Honor Award" by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Fifty students qualified for the "AP Scholar Award" by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher.
