Parking on Rike Field for Adviser Appointments Sept. 18 and 20
If you have an appointment with your child's adviser Sept. 18 or Sept. 20 before the 10 a.m. late class start, please park on Rike Field (front of the field house). Parking on the hill is more convenient for some appointments, but is much more dangerous for students, faculty and families.

Baked Treats for Boarders
If you like to bake, the Dorm Delight Divas need you! On Thursday, Sept. 26 from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. volunteers will be collecting homemade brownies and other baked treats (two dozen per baker) at the Field House for boarding students. The boarders love home-cooked food, so this is a special treat that they will be able to look forward to each month. Check out the easy Volunteer Spot sign-up calendar and volunteer to bake for an upcoming month(s) by clicking here . You can sign up for as many or as few months as you like and you can change your sign-ups later if your schedule changes. It will even send you a reminder. Thanks to Boarding Parent Ambassadors Linda Benton and Lisa Romanchik for organizing this effort.

Important: Lifetouch/Yearbook Photo Change for Students in grades 9-11
Please note the following Lifetouch yearbook photo schedule change:
Grades 9 and 10 - will be photographed on Monday, Sept. 24
Grade 11 - will be photographed on Monday, Oct. 1. (This is also a make-up photo day for anyone else in grades 6-11).
Students need to bring the completed order form and payment on picture day. (This form was emailed to your First Class account on Sept. 12)

Upper School Parents’ Day Sept. 28
Attend classes and meet our teachers, 8:45 a.m. – noon (all upper school classes are dismissed at noon).

Boarding Parents’ Weekend Sept. 28-30
Join us for parents’ day on Friday, Sept. 28 from 8:45 – noon, followed by optional conferences with your child’s teachers. Boarding Parents’ weekend begins later in the afternoon with soccer, volleyball, tailgating, and football (senior night), then extends through Sunday, giving you plenty of time to visit with your child and enjoy our beautiful campus. To sign up for teacher conferences and for more details, click here.

Join the Softball Team for the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” Sept. 30
Coach Kelli Smith and her team have been very involved in supporting women with breast cancer and hope that others in the Baylor community will join them by signing up for the Baylor softball Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” team. Invite your friends and family to make donations, and come out and walk or run the race with them on Saturday, Sept. 30. Click on the following link to register and then search for Baylor or Baylor softball: www.komenchattanooga.org

Used Uniform Collection
With our new used uniform permanent home at the Parry Center, we need to keep our inventory stocked. If you have any uniforms you would like to trade in for Baylor bucks, please drop them off at the guard shack or bookstore. Leave your name on the bag and we will keep your "bucks" on file for your use during the next sale.

Join the Baylor Backers!
Renew your Baylor Backer membership – or become a new member. Membership is available for all Baylor parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, and all funds raised go toward support for Baylor arts and athletic programs. Reminder on Student Accident Insurance
The Business Office would like to remind parents that the school has an accident insurance plan that pays benefits for injuries to students occurring during the school day or while participating in school-sponsored and supervised activities on or off the Baylor campus. If your child is injured, please ask the supervisor or coach to complete an accident form (available from Brenda Waddell in the Business Office). This is a secondary insurance plan and pays only after charges have been submitted to your primary insurance provider. Note: all claims must be submitted within 90 days of any accident.
