A Unique Opportunity
Baylor School is seeking the support of a select group of alumni, parents of current and past Baylor golfers, and friends of Lew Oehmig ’35, to establish the Lew Oehmig Golf Endowment. Named for the most accomplished and venerated golfer in Tennessee history, this exciting endeavor will set-apart Baylor as the most unique program in high school golf.

The $2 Million Oehmig Golf Endowment will...
• Guarantee the financial health and expansion of Baylor’s golf programs for future generations.

• Set apart Baylor’s program from other secondary schools and golf academies, attracting serious student-golfers from all over the world.

• Establish resources to assist student-golfers who qualify for financial aid.

• Provide resources to grow the game of golf, inside Baylor, but also through programs such as The First Tee, the Girls and Boys Clubs by using the school’s Hall of Fame Short Game Center

• Provide funding for elite-level on-campus instruction and expertise on the game, such as Dr. Bob Rotella.

• Permanently honor the legacy and example of Lew Oehmig ’35, “Gentleman Champion.”

Luke List ’03 an All-American at Vanderbilt, has played in two U.S. Opens, The Masters, and was runner-up in the 2004 U.S. Amateur at Winged Foot.
