Aaron Ervin '17

It feels like we’re all brothers. It’s nice to know that someone’s got your back.

Aaron’s private middle school in Lexington, Ky. often hosted boarding school and high school fairs, and Baylor was one of many national schools at the fair during his eighth grade year. Stopping at Baylor's booth, Aaron’s interest was piqued.

During his open house weekend at Baylor, Aaron says something “felt right.” He saw the opportunities for leadership and was impressed with the life skills and preparation for standardized tests that the colloquium periods offered.

Aaron says his dorm has become his "family" and enjoys the bonds and connections he’s created with the boys in his dormitory. “It feels like we’re all brothers,” he smiles. “It’s nice to know that someone’s got your back.”
