Offering comprehensive, professional design services, and specializing in architectural design for renovations and new construction, as well as interior design projects of varied scales throughout the Southern region. LPD is seeking an intern that is hardworking, organized, methodical, and motivated.
This internship is ideal for college students with architectural or interior design aspirations. The intern will work as part of a project team, learning the responsibilities of a junior designer or architect.

Wealth Management/Portfolio Construction
Compensation: Paid- $10 per hour plus parking
Duration: 4-8 weeks in Summer 2017; Mon- Thursday 9am-5pm ( 32 hours/week)

Lawson Winchester Wealth Management ( “ LWWM”) is seeking an intern who is interested in learning about investing, portfolio construction, and portfolio management, as well as the risk management associated with investment models. The intern will attend weekly Investment Committee breakfast meetings and will have direct interaction with the firm’s managing directors and analysts. Several hours each week will be spent learning both technical and fundamental equity analysis. Additionally, the intern will be assigned a project for which he or she will assume complete responsibility ( with guidance from staff). When appropriate, the intern may be included in client meetings and therefore a minimum of business casual dress is required.
PROGRAM PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Compensation: $8 per hour
Duration: 6-8 weeks in Summer 2017; Mon- Thursday 10am-4pm
Qualifications: Must be professional, friendly, and able to work with diverse groups of staff, children and families; must be at least 18 years of age.

The internship at Little Miss Mag would encourage our intern to explore the non-profit business world through interactions with our executive staff, board members, and families enrolled in our program, and through research and data collection to assist with implementation of the organization's strategic plan and ongoing planning and improvements to the program. Specifically, the internship will include grant-specific research, data collection and input, assistance with program planning related to classroom performance and compliance with state, federal, and United Way requirements, and additional activities related to special projects.

PROJECT ENGINEER INTERN

This intern will work as part of a project team, learning the responsibilities of a project engineer. The intern will:
Act as an advocate for Signal Energy, LLC by promoting all company policy and procedures and promoting a positive attitude towards the goals of each project. Must represent Signal Energy professionally with clients, subcontractors, and others at all times.
Review and coordinate subcontract documents, scopes of work, and schedules.
Process RFI’s and submittals.
Correspond with owners and design engineers.
Review and log inspection reports.
Work with the Estimating department during the pre-bid and buyout stage of each project to ensure that the needs of the field staff are being addressed.
Constantly solve problems and resolve issues through face to face and personal communication.
Actively communicate with and support site management team.
Medical – Physical Therapy
6 weeks; Daily schedule 12pm-4pm
Qualifications: Must be College student majoring in Physical Therapy
Location: 5 Chattanooga area clinic locations; free parking provided for downtown clinic.
The intern will learn and participate in basic exercise programs and observe manual techniques performed in order to return patients to a healthy, functional and independent condition. In addition, the intern will be able to log observation hours under a doctor of physical therapy (required for most DPT programs).
LAB TECH INTERN
$8 per hour
Summer 2017; Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Will work around prior scheduled vacation.
Desired candidate will have taken some lab courses in Chemistry and/or Microbiology.
Downtown Chattanooga office
Responsibilities to include assistance with chemical analysis using both wet chemistry methods and instrumentation analysis, including ICP, FTIR, IC, and HPLC. Assistance with microbiological testing including serial dilutions, plating, and preparation of stock solutions. Laboratory maintenance and record maintenance, as required.
