Caitlin Studer grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, went to school in Boston, studied in London, took a year off in Seattle, and lived in New York City before she moved to Chattanooga to be with her fiancé (now husband), Jack Studer ‘01.
Caitlin earned a BA in art history from Boston University. During a semester abroad in London as a junior, Caitlin interned at the Royal Academy of Arts. After graduating from BU she was an administrative assistant and then manager of special events at the Royal Academy’s fundraising arm in the U.S., the American Associates of the Royal Academy Trust, in New York City.
After three years there and a one-year adventure in Seattle, Caitlin returned to Manhattan and became a special events assistant at Carnegie Hall for a year. When she moved to Chattanooga in 2010, Caitlin worked as a community director for the March of Dimes, reinvigorating its annual black tie fundraising gala. “I never thought I’d live in Chattanooga, but the city has welcomed me, and I absolutely love this town,” said Caitlin.
“I also love everything about Baylor; it’s such a phenomenal place to work. I’m very excited to be a part of the Baylor community — to have events, to travel to alumni cities, and to get to know so many alums.”
In addition to the many trips Caitlin takes back to Manhattan, she enjoys traveling to new places. She also likes to visit museums and is starting to collect art. She finds time on the weekends to hike with her dogs, Harper and Nelly.
