Seventh Grade:

 

The Middle School curriculum emphasizes hands-on activities and authentic problem-solving experiences. Some examples include lab-oriented math and science courses; research papers, required modern languages, an eighth grade ethics course that focuses on the Holocaust, and a trip to Washington D.C. Art and music classes, which include history and theory as well as studio production, make extensive use of technology.

Art classes meet every other day (90 minutes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 70 minutes on Thursdays) for two semesters.

Science 7
Life Science (2 Semesters)
Science classes meet every other day (90 minutes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 70 minutes on Thursdays) for two semesters.

Humanities 7
English (2 Quarters)
Geography (2 Quarters)
Humanities classes meet every day (90 minutes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 70 minutes on Thursdays) all four quarters.

Performing Arts / Study Hall
Intermediate Band
Intermediate Orchestra
Intermediate Choir
Students may select to participate in performing arts or attend study hall. Performing arts meets three times a week for 45 minutes per class all four quarters. Students will have study hall on the two days they do not have performing arts. Study hall meets five times a week for 45 minutes per period.

Wellness
Wellness meets once a week for 45 minutes per period for one semester.
