A recent $1.5 million renovation of the Hedges Library transformed the space into an area that students and faculty love to visit -- further enhancing what has always been a vital part of the school community.
The open stacks and seating beckon visitors who step across the stone floor of the main entrance and walk through double glass doors. Windows once blocked by bookshelves or shades are now visible, and there are new large windows in place of wall space. All of the wonderful aspects of the space, such as the soft seating, the computer tables, are designed to draw students in — to make them feel comfortable and to strengthen their connection with the library.
