Some think a good school means good test scores. If that's the case we're in fine shape (remind us to introduce you to our students who earned perfect scores on the National Latin exam and the SAT). Naturally we take pride in excellence. But at Baylor, we see so much more in our students. We see the artist, the tutor, the techie, the scientist, and the athlete. The dancer, the writer, the swimmer, and the diplomat. For every face on campus, there's a singular story of accomplishment. And for most that story starts at Baylor. Why? Because of the wide range of spectacular opportunities we provide – through special programs, fine arts, and athletic offerings. Student Activities & Programs

More than 30 extracurricular activities are available, including community service, athletics, outdoor education and adventure programs, and a variety of student clubs, organizations, and publications.

Athletics

We offer a total of 17 sports and fields 74 teams in grades 6-12.

Fine Arts

In addition to offering courses at each grade level in visual and performing arts, our calendar is packed each year with performances, concerts, exhibits, and special trips. We are also fortunate to welcome to campus throughout the year authors, choreographers, dancers, musicians, poets, and artists from all disciplines as visiting artists and guest lecturers.

Travel

Hiking the Himalayas, kayaking in Costa Rica, working with the needy in Jamaica, traveling to Europe with an art or language class, participating in foreign exchanges, visiting the Holocaust museum in Washington, D.C….these are just a few of the travel opportunities that our students take advantage of each year.
