What Parents Say About Baylor

We asked current Baylor parents to respond to the following question: “How does Baylor compare to the school you attended?”

Type of school attended: Coed, British government-run school
Parent of day students James ’11, Emma ‘13

I went to a school in a working class suburb of a large city. What strikes me at Baylor, in addition to the tangible things like small class size, are the resources and opportunities from athletics to art programs, to different classes to extracurricular activities. I had a great education in terms of the quality of teachers. But I never saw my school as a community. We did our classes, got our homework and went home. Baylor is a much bigger part of these kids’ lives, educating the whole child.
